~Link to sketch~

Monologues are very fun to write, especially when they’re based off a single line of dialogue that you’ve read in a terrible erotic novella. Partly written for Ed Spence, the slapstick elements of the sketch (including the entirely non-vocal Robert De Niro  impression) are unique to his physical vocabulary and are just wonderful to watch. Co-starring Alice Jackson as the civilised fool to Ed’s madman, Desolation in the Park was first performed on the 16th of October 2014.
