Everyone does a job sketch, so I thought I’d give it a crack. This sketch was performed twice with two very different interpretations.
Originally performed by Edward Spence (Shopkeeper) and Nojan Hassanzadeh (Customer) with Will Bowers (Barry) on the 7th of November 2014, the neurotic, paranoid and high pitched Nojan contrasted with Ed’s down-to-earth and helpful Customer.
Performed again on the 19th February 2014 as part of Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival, Harry Williams (Shopkeeper), Ivo de Jager (Customer) and Alex Hatcher (Barry) took a wildly more aggressive and uncompromising tone, with the Shopkeeper taking such offence at the Customer’s actions at one point that he spits on the floor and then stamps on the spit. True rage.
