ABSOLUTE MONOPOLY

Absolute Monopoly is my debut comedy hour.
If I were to describe it, it would be as a “fucked gameshow”.
Monopoly is a terrible game. It ruins friendships and destroys families. This interactive extravaganza will update it for the modern world to make a game that’s more competitive, more aggressive and will destroy even more families.
Join comedian Benjamin Alborough as he attempts to improve Monopoly in this chaotic, interactive gameshow where audience members compete against each other and the host, with the audience physically becoming the game board.
The show combines role playing, physical challenges and psychological intimidation to make something that, if not the best board game in the world, is at least short.
It debuted with Assembly Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023, then played a full sell-out run again with Assembly in 2024 following touring dates as part of the Brighton Fringe’s Weekend of Weird, Underbelly Boulevard and the Machynlleth Comedy Festival along many more.
Directed by Cara Compass.
LATE NIGHT WITH TERRY WOGAN

Late Night with Terry Wogan is my mixed bill where I (Terry Wogan) interview comics in character as celebrities. It’s really good fun and we mostly filled out the huge Assembly Studio One space at Edinburgh where it was filmed by GoFasterStripe. The show features a live throne and a huge band.
Terry Wogan is back from the dead as part of his ongoing attempts to return to light entertainment no matter the cost. Featuring interviews with “real” celebrities and accompanied by a live band. Every night one lucky member of the audience will give Terry £5000. Recipient of a KBE and wielder of the flame of Anor.
Previous guests include George Lucas, Ray Parker Jr, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Liza Minelli, DB Cooper, Tim Henman, Scarlett Johansson and several different Michael Caines.
Half unhinged characterisations, half improvised chaos and half incredibly tightly written jokes, anything can happen and it probably will.
TERRY WOGAN SCREAMS
Broadcasting legend Terry Wogan has ambiguously returned and taken up residency in an ethereal social club. They tried to stop him but they couldn’t.
Armed with only his wit, several damp cue cards and the faltering abilities of mid-level warm-up comedian Sean Morley (‘One To Watch’ – O2 In-Store Magazine, 2018) Terry intends to bring back light entertainment by any means necessary. If you want him, you can have him.
Available for purchase at Go Faster Stripe.
Also available with an audio commentary from Sean and Terry himself
Terry Wogan Screams is a collaboration between myself and Sean Morley exploring light entertainment in a unique way. It’s “Phoenix Nights meets Rashomon meets The Wicker Man filmed with a live audience and head-mounted cameras”. We did it a very early prototype version at Vault Festival and Leicester Comedy Festival in 2023. It was then filmed as part of the GoFasterStripe Day at the Moth Club along with other specials from John-Luke Roberts and Joz Norris.
CREAM TEA AND INCEST

Cream Tea and Incest was a Jeeves & Wooster parody that I wrote and acted in. In and amongst two sell out runs distributed over three years (the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Edinburgh Fringes), we also did a 3 week run at the Hope Theatre in Islington, an incredible process that was a) transformative and b) unrepeatable. The show went on to do a run in Warsaw, where 4000 people saw it.
Romance! Adventure! Murder! Aristocrat Eddie Spangler and valet Jeffrey must learn the meaning of these words and more in this new knockabout Edwardian comedy. Delight in their capers, mix-ups, and the dead bodies left in their wake.
We also did a series of sequels during lockdown, each taking place in a different early 20th century decade, all available online. Here’s one:
RICKY RIDDLEGANG AND THE RIDDLE GANG

Ricky Riddlegang and the Riddle Gang was my followup to Cream Tea and Incest, a show with the same sensibilities and the same cardboardy props. A Scooby Doo parody, Riddlegang was co-written by Harry J Williams and ended up being a musical about Catholicism. The show went to the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 with Gilded Balloon and was recorded in 360 degrees virtual reality.
Join hip teen detective Ricky Riddlegang and his trusty Riddle Gang as they solve the mystery of the haunted manor and put the perpetrator to death. Spectres, suspects and shenanigans abound as the Gang delve into an enigma that threatens to devour them all… Uncle Eustace Riddlegang’s ancestral collection of clues and hints has gone missing. This makes tracking down the culprit difficult as it’s completely impossible to tell what clues and hints are relevant. But which of the one previously introduced characters could the culprit actually be?
BEDLAM LATE
>
With my comedy production company Liebenspiel I help programme and produce a series of experimental late night comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe each year, which we’ve been doing since 2023. In 2024 were one of The Skinny and Chortle’s top comedy picks for the Edinburgh Fringe and in 2025 we received the Keep it Fringe fund from Fleabag and got nominated for a Malcolm Hardee award for Comic Originality.
A lot of the shows that started at Bedlam Late have gone on to have successful lives elsewhere.
Shows that started as part of our programme have included:
Rosa Garland’s Kink Shame Show
Late Night with Terry Wogan
Midlands Child Syndrome
Hot Rubber
We’ve also featured lots of returning cult classics like The Glang Show, Lil Wenker’s Ronnie Eucalitto and Jeremy Segway.
